Conker Spirit partners with the RNLI to launch Navy Strength Gin

Conker Spirit has partnered with UK charity the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) to launch Navy Strength Gin, the brand’s first gin offer since the releasing Dorset Dry. With an ABV of 57%, the new spirit is said to retain “the original smooth and refreshing lighter notes” of Dorset Dry, which was launched in 2014.

Nine botanicals are used for Navy Strength Gin: juniper berries, coriander seed, angelica root, oris root, casia bark, bitter orange peel, lime peel, elderberries and marsh samphire.

Created using “wheat spirit heat” accompanied by fresh pine and sweet and spiced fruits, the gin is said to be “bold and purposeful”, Conker Spirit said.

For every bottle of the gin sold, £5 will be donated to the RNLI. Conker Spirit founder Rupert Holloway said: “I grew up on the Dorset coast and took every opportunity I had to be in the water. The sea is extremely close to my heart, and as a result, Conker Gin is distilled from marsh samphire hand-foraged from the Dorset coastline.

“There’s a perfect synergy between our two seaside brands – we are passionate about the work the RNLI undertakes and are proud to be playing a role in the RNLI’s continued independence and volunteer lifesaving.”
